Coogee Beach Lower Promenade Building

The innovative design has effectively been built underground ensuring the area of the green space above could be retained while providing ample natural light to the amenities below. Great care was taken to preserve the natural heritage sandstone wall that stretches around to the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club. The building was also designed to withstand wild weather conditions at Coogee Beach as experienced in June 2016 and was completed while allowing full access to the surrounding public open spaces during the construction phase.
