Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre

The redevelopment work includes the construction of six new heated swimming pools and the partial demolition of the existing facility whilst retaining heritage significant buildings and salvaged elements for reinstatement. Substantial remediation works were also undertaken on the existing grandstand and remaining heritage listed building structures. Where possible, existing materials located on the site, such as concrete, were recycled to adopt a more environmentally friendly outcome.
