Global Switch Sydney East Data Centre, Stage 1

The new facility adjoins the existing Global Switch building, and it was delivered over three separate stages.
The new data centre, Project Managed by Area 3 Consulting, comprises a six storey data centre facility with 12,500sq.m of technical space and a gross floor area of 24,000sq.m of world class critical infrastructure services.
The facility has a total I.T. electrical load of 21.375MW and includes controlled temperature areas.
The new facility supplies to some of the world’s largest organisations, significant Australian companies and government agencies for whom data centre resilience is critical. Sydney East is a leading example of an environmentally sustainable data centre and has an Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Rating.
