Lane Cove New Outdoor Aquatic Centre

The design and construction of an outdoor pool with a length of 50m, a width of 20.4m and eight lanes in width.

The client gave Icon a strict programme to align with school holidays and 20/21 swimming season. The redevelopment improved the aquatic and leisure centre facilities for local residents and was designed to minimise any impact on the adjoining properties.

The redevelopment included a new youth centre, a 12-metre high grandstand, half basketball court, cafe store, amenities building and shade structures covering the pool marshalling area.
