Orange Residential Care Facility

Icon worked with Mission Australia on this important project in regional NSW. This purpose-built aged care facility, located in Orange, provides permanent and secure accommodation for people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness and socially and financially disadvantaged. The new facility was specially tailored to the needs of the elderly homeless residents of Orange. Icon delivered the design component of the facility together with the construction of the new building. Due to budget issues Icon worked with the client to find alternatives to value engineer the design to achieve the required budget outcomes.
