Voco-HIE Hotel

VOCO-HIE is a unique 39 storey, 140-meter-tall hotel development; with two independently operated hotel chains which are 'stacked' one above the other in a tower format. A total of 494 guest rooms will be provided. Selected key plant and equipment infrastructure is shared where possible, and the structural design has been refined to accommodate the differing hotel dimensional configurations.

Outside of its core guest room function, this development will provide food and beverage offerings, a 'sky lounge' bar, conference facilities, recreational facilities, and cold shell retail.

The articulation and materiality of the facade design is critical to the build's success. It is comprised of a mix of insitu concrete, non-loadbearing pre-cast elements and high-performance articulated curtain wall systems.

Following a successful ECI and Early Works package, Icon was able to offer a unique supply chain solution that delivered Pro-Invest great value by blending the best of the local market, enhanced by specialist D&C building services solutions, and supplemented with Icon’s ‘direct engagement’ of its international supply chain solutions for the curtain wall façade and prefabricated bathroom pods.
